Hello, just curious what the consensus is on the CF Limes shave cream? Do any of you find it drying?

    Best,

I think it is, and many others agree, that it is one of the best lime creams on the market. I would say its moisturizing. Its a soft soap (they call it cream). It gives great cushion and protection. Its worth the money and should last you a long time. It is pure lime EO and smells like fresh limes. Great stuff.

I agree with the above. Its a great product. That said, I've seen some CF enthusiasts treat it like its the greatest thing since sliced bread. Its still just shave cream - a very good shave cream, but it doesn't redefine the niche. There are other good products to be had as well.

If you know of anything equally as good as CF please list it here, because I will buy some immediately.

Kudos to CF lime. Best smelling lime IMO. The only gripe is that for the price.....why not put it in a glass jar?

Risk of breakage I would suppose... I wish they did too.

I kind of like it in the plastic container. You would too if you dropped the glass one. And the bathrooms a good place to break stuff. You'll be thinking the heavens when your drop your extremely expensive bowl of CF and it doesnt break.

Love it :happy005 In the past with other cream makers....Coates comes to mind.....were not the lime creams supposed to be marketed for "Oily Skin" types?

Coates was anyway.......it's hard to see,.... but the lime tube (Top Right) says "Oily Skin" the lime oil has an astringent property which can be drying perhaps to some skin types....................

Lime is also marketed for preventing small nicks and cuts. Those are the main benefits that Castle Forbes advertises for the cream and aftershave.
