Warm but tomorrow and Friday are going to he hot. I "love" working outdoors, especially in the summer.
*snork* I meant that I was out today, driving around with the windows down, and it didn't seem too bad. Didn't bother turning on the A/C for most of it. Even when I was outside working, it was 'hot', but didn't seem like the normal sauna.
Well, now that's it's cooled off a bit it's time to go on the patio and smoke a pipe after dinner. I'll have to take a glass of Chardonnay to help cool me off.
Lol, feels like 100. I hate when it's in the 70s, God bless you. I went down to North Carolina last October, and it was to warm for me then. I imagine Texas is even warmer. Friendly people down south, but I can't take the weather. I'd have to visit again later in winter. I did try a local beer that wasn't bad though. Shotgun Betty. Man it was gorgeous down there, with all those pine trees. I'm rambling now. A Yankee fell in love with the south, how'bout that.
83 still in Montreal but not anywhere near as humid as it would be in South Florida. A/C is still very much needed, though.
classic!!!!! I remember Curt Gowdy saying of former Oakland Raider coach John "Hey wait a minute" Madden-"Look at John Madden, you can fry an egg on his neck".
82 partly cloudy & a little humid here just off Exit 8 NJTP. Fireworks tonight so four of us are here to make sure nobody misbehaves on Company property. The Boss lets people from the area use our lot to watch the BOOMS.
I was sitting on the patio smoking a pipe, listing to thunder in the distance. It was clear in Sugar Land, but there was a thunderstorm cell over downtown Houston.
Yup - I was right at 610 and 18th street, right as the red stuff passed overhead. 5 minutes later, I walked out to my car in a sprinkle, and saw a rainbow on the way home.
We could be in for an all-humid week here in metro Boston. It's so odd to think that metro Boston and metro Miami have the same summer weather-humidity. We call ourselves part of the Northeast, but the summer weather has something to say about that.
