Well, I had to do it - my old Glacial MITA bowl is gone and I thank it so much for a year of wonderful, dedicated service!

I started the new bowl that arrived on Tuesday and needless to say it's got the same great everything - that love MITA scent, that same awesome, rich, slick lather, and 3x the amount of menthol as the regular MITA version so indeed, I froze my face to smithereens. The Lucky Tiger's cooling, moisturizing, and soothing sensation came in very handy. I finished off a bottle of the Alcolado Glacial but I have a brand-new backup! Three passes won me another Dolphin Smooth Shave!

    Enjoy your day, guys!

The DE's are one of the best ever made. I easily get 30 superb shaves with each one. I usually switch razors every 10 shaves. Yes, they are from the 70's. Enjoy!!

    Thursday

Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath-Scots Pine Sheep
    Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
Razor: Gillette Red Tip Super Speed
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (Shave #2)

Route 66 Bourbon Jungle today. 20 seconds to load the RR/Zenith Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Silver Blue in the Red Tip. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Anucci Sport EdT.

SOTD: Vintage Dubl Duck Dwarf 5/8," Soap Commander 'Honor' soap and matching mentholated aftershave balm, Brad Sears Shave Works silvertip brush. This DDD is so easy to use— fast & efficient. It's also my smallest straight razor. Great shave! Have a blessed Thursday, gents!

'95 liquid labels is a dupe of Tommy Hilfiger. It's a bright citrusy cologne type scent.

The brush I'm about to receive from PAA has been described as a great soap-whipper. In my words, I might say it sounds like a "soap magnet".

Who is this "Tom" who made your brush and razor? And where can I browse his wares? Any weblink?

Excellent shave today. This wedge a deeper sound and feels so smooth that I have to check to make sure it reduced any stubble. I still use my Rockwell for touch ups and tricky areas. My straight razor technique has not caught up to my DE skills yet. DdT pairs nicely with Quercus.
    Prep: Chatillon Lux butter
Soap: Sudsy Soapery Delor de Treget
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
Razor: 6/8 Gary Stewart Tamarind, Rockwell 6s R6
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue
AS: Chatillon Lux Delor de Treget
    EdT: Penhaligon's Quercus[IMG]

That's a really nice looking razor. The scales (correct?) are beautiful.

Chris Cullen mentioned to me 6 months ago that he is likely going to go away from doing "dupes" of fragrances and phase in his own creations instead. So I suggest if anyone enjoys his scent dupe products to "stock up" on them now just in case he phases them out. When he said that I changed my order from 1 item of each to 8 aftershaves and 3 shave soaps (which should be enough for at least around 8-10 years worth of use considering that I have such a large rotation of other shave products). I stocked up on Royal Garden and '95 Liquid Labels, which are critical to my silver shave kit.

Nice shave kit and fragrance. That's as top shelf as it gets.
