SoS: July 17, 2017 - July 23, 2017

Well I'm making enough progress with the straight, to do a couple of passes on workdays without fear of coming into work looking like an unsuccessful lion tamer, as long as a follow up two WTG passes with one ATG pass with a DE. Today the combination of my sinus infection, and @Yehuda D's raving about the Stirling Glacials compelled me to pick the Glacial Lemon Chill. I gotta admit, now that I'm prepared for what's coming it is less painful and more cooling than I found it before. I'm not there yet, but I can see this becoming an acquired taste. Maybe I'll put another glacial sample in my next order.

Thanks Rob. Joining the Staff was just an extension of what I was already doing - being an old Boy Scout. The banner was fun to put together. I like playing with graphics and have been using cool tap water for my whole shave for a while. Back when you were using more products I saw it was one you chose. When I spotted it in a local shop I thought I'd give it a try. It's quick to lather, slick with good residual, and I like the scent.

Owww!! This razor is aggressive!! Not a good shave as it hurt like ^%%^*. And that was just 1 pass too. That razor goes back on the shelf for sure. Now go enjoy your day folks

Hello folks, here is today's OC SOTD, with a Canadian Gillette ABC Pocket Edition. I used a vintage Gillette Blue Blade in the razor.



The soap in the mug is Ray's of Colorado, (Ray's Ole Spiced). It's a glycerin soap. Good stuff. Have a great day all!
