    Just keep doing it. Turn off the water and the fan. Listen for the sweet soft velcro sound accompanied by smooth glide. The rest is all practice with the grips and figuring your best stroke pattern. In SR, others will attest, skin stretching is the difference between comfy bbs and decent dfs. You're doing just fine!

    Busy night late at work today and I had promised SWMBO we'd go out for dinner after. I'm tired and less than motivated to expend energy so the pain sticks/straights get ignored tonight in favor of an easy shave. The Super Speed and Sharp Star with Dirty Deeds - easy, fast, wonderful, great feel, BBS, doesn't get any better any easier than that.

    I'll be back with the Feather SS and a new Feather blade tomorrow as the BOPS edition of the Grand Blade Trials continues! Time to vegetate! Have a great night.

    Cheap and easy shave.

    40's Super Speed
    Astra SP
    30DC
    Arko
    Witch Hazel
    Barbasol Brisk

    Head and face shave. This setup is one of the easiest routes to a sure-fire, hassle free shave. The Brisk was just Brisk enough on a muggy, hot, nasty day. Cruised to a nice, smooth finish from the neck up.

    My no-buy will be tested next week on vacation. There are several antique stores along our route that I have never visited before, as we are staying somewhere we have never been. Are there no-buy exemptions for vacation?

    How are things down in Red Stick?
    Hot as all get out here in the Great Garden State. I went through 5 bottles of water yesterday sealing trailers. Gonna be another hot one today
