Anybody else got spots on their faces that, no matter what, won't succumb to the blade? I've got a spot along my left jawline that I just can't get shaved! I go WTG, XTG, ATG, and several other directions on this spot to no avail. I get BBS all over every day -- except for this spot. How is this humanly possible?

Some times the gods of shaving leave a rough spot with me. I have a rack by my lavatory with the four (4) razors in my current rotation. I reach for a different razor when that happens. Oddly enough, in most instances its my Schick Grip which comes to the rescue.

Cant say that I do. The only spot I dont get BBS is my neck, and thats because I only do one WTG pass on it.

Sorry, no, I don't have such a spot. I know someone though, who has and nothing works for him. If he goes WTG it will stay stubbly, if he goes ATG or XTG he'll start to bleed...

I am in this boat. Although I am working through some razor and blade combos that are starting to work for me.

My biggest spots are the underside of my jaw line, which I can get to if I stretch and the chin to the adams apple. I can't really go against cause it gets all red and bumpy.

    rick I'll make ya SCream!

You tell me when ya figgur it out.
Thats my trouble spot as well.

Been having better luck with this series:

    N-S WTG (Nose to ear)
    N-S XTG (Ear to nose)
    S-N XTG (Ear to nose)
    Ear to chin ATG

..................if that makes any sense :whacky011

Thats me......bottom half of the neck (really its a 1 pass N-S XTG pass, tho)

and I DO NOT Care cause the pain and suffering of trying for BBS is just plain embarraskin'

You lost me. Wouldn't an XTG pass be E-W or W-E instead of N-S and S-N?

Are you standing on your head when you shave? :happy102

I knew it wouldnt be easy.........

    OK.
    heres the deal-ee-o:
N-S = Head to Toes. Dont wanna involve the other directions.

Grain grows from my nose to me ears N-S on the 1st part of the neck.
So N-S WTG goes that a way.
Pass #2 would be from ears to nose (N-S)
    Capisch ??

I dont mind my neck not being BBS because I dont sit there and touch it. I'll sit in class with my chin in my hand and think "wow, I've got one hell of a shave". Other than that, no big deal.

  12. Hmm... just throwing this out there as a novice wetshaver, but is it possible that you might have a swirl?

Like a grain swirl where the hairs just all decide to march in a toilet-flushing motion?

Brother, the whole left side of my face is like that! :happy102

Seriously, it takes about 5 passes for me to get the left side of my face shaved decently.

When I have that happen, I resort to the Sensor for touch-ups. The head size gets under the chin well.
