Injector & SE Party !!!

This type of scuttle is not really to warm anything. It holds water for the brush to soak in. Most homes back when did not have running water. The puck sits in the top but there is no way it gets warmed. I do have a dirty bird scuttle that does keep lather warm. I also have a larger Old Foley scuttle in the classic style.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Old Spice Lime Cream face-lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom, Badger brush. I did the two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher and CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Jim, that sure is a nice handle on that lather catcher. It must be new old stock.

 

It is a delightful handle, but as you know it is just new. Thanks to @twhite for the blingy ferrule that makes it pop.

Excellent picture and setup amigo. I really like the brush stand.

 

Tomorrow's Menthol Monday setup. Following the thread I'm bringing out the Type H "Hussey". The bowl was a recent find by SWMBO. It's a little big and heavy, but anything that says "Hershey's" on it has got to be good.

That is a very cool razor, Tom. Would you call that a twist to open razor? I have never seen/heard of that razor before.

 

It is indeed a twist to open. Patent September 1905.

Broke out the homemade Williams shave stick this afternoon. It is modern Williams and works great!!! The heavy handle ER 1912 was a pleasure to use as always!!
