I Had a Shave this Morning with My Taylor Sheffield 15/16th..This One has a Black Surgical Arkansas Edge & Man its as Smooth as Butter..An Arkie Can Easily Over Hone a Sheffield Blade..I Took this One Off the Stone around the 15/16 K Mark..One of the Finest Edges I Have Ever Put on a Razor..A Belter of a Shave Today..

I Am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..

Another great 2 pass quick, close and drama free shave this morning. It would be hard to ask for more. Finished up with a splash of Floid Blue. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

 

I'll have to check the loft, as I just set it. Today was my first use. I have really enjoyed using the Stirling Kong and 24 mm Plissoft, but this has the potential to be my new favorite knot. It is softer than either of the other two, sprays a bit better, and still manages good backbone for face lathering. I am pretty impressed with this first use.

 

This shave couldn't be better - my barber is going to eat his heart out when I go for a haircut today. I enjoyed the Sharp Dressed Man's lovely scent, rich lather, and soothing comfort so much and got smoother than silk. No aftershave was required, just a little moisturizer and then a couple of spritzes of Acqua di Selva cologne which smells awesome and old-school Italiano!

So are you fishing the great lakes? Or rivers/ponds? being in Massachusetts - all my fishing is in the ocean. I have seen shows fishing in your neck of the woods with people catching MONSTER carps and other "bottom feeding" fish - I personally like bottom fishing with bait versus casting with spinners or lures... I would love to catch a giant carp or catfish some day - wish I had the balls to go noodling - those guys are hardcore.

Chiseled Face Cedar & Spice today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Perma-Sharp Super in the Black Beauty. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Chiseled Face Sherlock aftershave.
