    Friday shave

    This razor is fresh off the hones and finished on Shapton glass 16k. The edge was smooth and sharp. It was dark rainy morning so I went with Tabac and everything seemed to be flowing, 4 passes and yes and epic shave, no irritation and a very smooth face.

    Irritation A+ Closeness A+ Smoothness A Sharpness A

    Razor: PRC western grind Kami
    Strop: Drygulch black latigo
    Brush: Romero silver tip
    Pre: Nivea
    Soap: Tabac
    AS: Fine Snake Bite, Speick ASB
    Scent: SMN Acqua di Cuba

    The scent of Route 66 Bay Lime Twist is a wonderful mix of citrus and bay which last throughout the shave. Since I had the time the morning, I went with a full 3 pass shave paying particular attention to my trouble spots and skin stretching on my neck. Overall a very close and smooth near BBS shave. I finished the shave with a splash of F&C Shambala feeling refreshed. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    The Feather didn't feel quite as smooth today, which was day 6. I still got a decent shave, just not quite as comfortable. My previous experience with this blade was that it tended to drop off than other blades. The next few days will show if this is true. Again, the Cashmere knot was a joy to use. I hope everyone has a great day!
