Let's add AOS to the list and I would agree 100%.

I've thought about trying the Sacre' Blu. Might even add on a bottle of the vintage AV.

I say go for it man! Crown King is an excellent soap I have some pineapple Bayrum from them and it's awesome.

I've thought about getting that too with the mug. I enjoy watching the You Tube videos.

We better add Yardley too. No vintage shaving soap list is complete without it.

It is Williams Wednesday. Today, I used Williams that I keep in Grandpa Lowe's vintage shaving mug. He was a machinist by trade. When he was a kid, he used to run errands for the Wright brothers in Dayton, OH. Born in 1895, he saw many changes in his lifetime. He used Williams and a boar brush. I don't know what razor he used though. He passed in 1988 at age 93.

Nice setup. The williams I used today was some of the last with tallow as #1. It's good stuff.

    Williams Wednesday!!!

What a great shave from older Williams and the 30DC brush. The 1913 ER and Treet did awesome as well. Clubman Musk is solid as can be. Shave on fellow Williams fans!!

Holy cow, a few years ago you could have retired on that amount. It was going for a lot on Ebay.

I do not have a bunch of vintage Williams. I am jealous. I do have some Colgate though.

Yes. It is a tuxedo. apshaveco company I think. The handle is a limited edition made by a member of the 30 day thread group. I think 22-23 were made. It is a great knot and works very nice on the Williams!!

I bought another puck of Williams today since I'm about to put a hole through my Brut infused puck. My Winco wants $1.04 for a puck of Williams, and they have more than 10 boxes.

If it was the vintage formulation I would have bought them all.

Meh. I get just as good of shaves from the modern..

I agree the modern is just as good. It just needs to be used daily so the puck doesn't dry out completely. I love modern Williams just as much as the vintage version.
