I selected the Glacial MITA for my Menthol Monday Shave and it looks like I'll be going Glacial all next week because the weather's heating up again.
I hear you on that. I'm going with Port-Au-Prince for tonight's shave, but might change it up to Eskimo Tuxedo. I'm trying to burn through these samples to make room for more . SWMBO gave me permission to get some Glastonbury soap and AS. So I figured while I'm at it, I'll pick up a tub of Eskimo Tuxedo and maybe Glacial Black Cherry. Not sure yet though Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
Mild temps and a break in humidity allowed for a non-Glacial shave this evening. I went with Weekend in Malibu, and loved every minute of it!
As you recall, Lemon Chill caught my attention last summer to try this summer, and of course I ended up choosing the "green". I think what has delayed me on the Chill is figuring out the best A.S. to use(yeah, I know....same name, right). There will indeed be another, no question there.
If I use too much, it seems I have to maybe whip it a bit more, but if you are talking about enough to turn it somewhere between a Chill and a Glacial, I have never noticed a difference. Since I bowl lather almost all the time now that I am straight shaving, I think I almost prefer adding my own freeze. Sometimes I don't want it.
I couldn't have asked for a better lather because the Glacial MITA pretty well buried my face. The menthol effect began immediately and by the time I started on my shave I was squinting. The Glacial Unscented balm froze me even more!
I didn't go with menthol in my shave, but used some mutton fat These sample pucks are like that damn energizer bunny... they just keep going and going and....lol Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
It really is a nice scent. Strong, and lasts forever! I can usually still smell it in the morning. And I don't have the AS. I use witch hazel and a night cream. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
Greetings all! Just checking-in to blame a number of you for exerting undue influence on this wet shaver, resulting in yet another purchase from Stirling. I was already a fan, but after reading so many posts, I found myself stepping up to order more goodies: Stirling shaving soap samples: Baker Street Dunshire Glastonbury Lime Vanilla Sandalwood Glacial, Lemon Chill I even bought that classy looking 24mm boar brush being sold at such a staggeringly low price. So, with that, thanks again for taking food right off my family's kitchen table.
