The Glacial MITA soap has around three times the amount of menthol as the regular version so you can just imagine what an iceberg it is. It gave me such awesome lather, its lovely scent was ever present, and as soon as I put the brush on my face I got hit by that freezing sensation. The Glacial Unscented balm was number two in the setup - no scent whatsoever, but it goes on so cold and comfortable. Last but not least, the Arctique aftershave splash hit me with a bitter-cold wallop and a very soothing feeling which felt, and still feels so good. A three pass work of art of a shave!

I can smell the cargo soaking on the docks.
I readied for the blow in matching fashion
Hot water wash with a washcloth

Rum Runner balm
Everything's battened and stowed. The RR smelled right and whipped into perfect lather. Three passes to be sure. Finished with the warm sweetness of cane sugar and lingering like wet oak.

Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic today. 20 seconds to load the H et V HMW brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Executive Man w/Menthol aftershave.

Another epic shave from the Baby Smooth. Using this razor is teaching my that I can do thing that I didn't think were previously possible. I am able to go ATG on my face and XTG on my neck, two passes that would result in some discomfort before. It also has taught me that I haven't had nearly as much angle control as I previously though and there is still a vast amount of improvement that can be made with my technique when it comes to using other razors. I've been getting the smoothest shaves I've ever has with this razor and it has reset the bar and has given me something to work toward with my other razors. Happy Monday everyone!

 

It actually lathered fairly well. I'll keep working on it this month. I just need to figure out how much water to use. Thanks.
