SOTD: First day of August & thought I'd mix it up with a non-vintage safety razor—Merkur 39C Slantbar 'The Sledgehammer,' Feather hi-stainless blade, Stirling 'Coniferous' mentholated tallow soap, Stirling 'Kong' synthetic & 'Tuscany' post-shave balm. My first DE shave in about 6+ weeks and was quite pleased with the results. Fast. Easy. Smooth, with no irritation. One trickle of blood (oops!). Have a blessed Tuesday, gents!

Notice any difference between V1 and V2? Mine came in yesterday and will be awhile before I use the V2. Hopefully a little closer shave. Feels a little heavier than the V1.

The Oneblade Core is made out of polymer and I have the 1st version of it. They made some changes and offered an exchange to V2 but I declined. I have the Core in my travel bag. Oneblade made two versions of the stainless steel razors as well. I have the V2 of the stainless one and have been using it on work days for the last couple of weeks.
