First Shave for me with his blade, very sharp and was not comfortable using it. In fact when going ATG on cheek made it sore. Not the Blade for me in this or probably any other Razor:(
Finished off the Shave with a Claymore V1 &Feather Pro [ 6 ] nice and smooth in comparison, finished Shave was quite good. At least I have tried this blade, which I propose to send on to a friend.

First use of the famous Mitchell's Wool Fat... and it was a great debut indeed. Not hard to lather as I was led to believe by some comments online and a great performance giving a very slick and protective surface to the Silverhawk/Feather combo to mow down the whiskers. Superb shave in the end.

    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick M adjustable
    Brush: Jayaruh #142 black badger
    Lather: Fine Lavender
Post: Witch hazel, Fine Lavender aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Smooth, close shave this morning. The M adjustable works quite well for me. Great lather from the Fine soap and a nice finish with the matching aftershave. Enjoyable way to start the day!

    An Old Fart learns.

A month or so ago I had my first experience with an injector razor. It was, to say the least, underwhelming. I used a Schick "J" series and initially with a bad blade. A new blade helped some but it was still pretty unpleasant and certainly not at all as nice as the Gillettes I had been using for a half century. But everyone else seemed to like the format so I bought another Schick injector, a "G1" model and it was quite different. The shave was actually pleasant and the end result about as nice as I get from my Techs and Super Speeds, about like a shave with a GEM 1912. A second shave was similar. So now I have an "E" ordered and a second "G" to see if there is a trend or that this one is an outlier.

    Razor: Schick M3 Adjustable (4)
    Blade: Schick Proline B (2)
    Brush: 30DC/Pure Badger
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I think I didn't post yesterday's shave which was with the Schick Adjustable and a Personna Twin. After that one, though, I decided to retire the Twin blade and go with the Proline for today. Overall, a decent shave though not the closest in some spots. I suspect that that was partially due to the milder setting of '4'. I went milder because of the sharpness of the blade but may have gone too far.
