  1. It isn't as long lasting as some, but seems to hold up through most of the morning. I like it.
  2. It's only a few days away.

  9. Have you taught the young man the art of traditional shaving yet? :)
  10. Well, I would think most colleges have air conditioning. ;) School starts for secondary students here in Alabama either this week or next. It's certainly hot. The A/C is on full blast in my room.

    Thank you, Jim!

Shaved this morning, but had no time to post until now. Adjustable August continues with the SA-109. Got a great lather with this cream again and I am really, really enjoying it performance-wise, scent-wise and menthol level-wise. Dialed the BB up to 9 for the first pass, 7 for the next 2. Can't say that I was this happy with it when I focussed with it back in the spring, but had no problems getting a smooth shave out of it on 'setting Neal' for the first pass. A few small weepers that didn't survive the Thayers or AS were the only blemish. After using it for the past week in a few different razors now, I do find the Nacet a nice sharp blade as well. A near BBS 3 pass shave with very little buffering was the result.
Finished with the good, cheap stink. The scent fades very quickly on this product, but it feels nice going on.
    Have a great evening all!

  16. Thank you Clint. Let's see what day is it tomorrow?
I think I should have wiped out a little more olive oil before taking the photo. :)
  17. I didn't notice the shine until you said something. I'm certainly ready for the weekend.

  18. I am not much of a shaving proselytizer. The kid is always clean shaven, and he has used my bathroom without ever asking about all my stuff. Ball is in his court.
  19. Thank you, Randy! The Lavender Lemonade is a great soap. I really like Stubble Trubble performance, and this scent is terrific. I got an early tub, before he had worked out all the details of with ATT, so I am not sure it is exactly the same as the final version. The scent strength isn't too strong, really just about right.
  20. I am sucker for lavender so I will need to give it a try.
