It's a Stub-tail Razor Day, for me. I really enjoy this Pre-Civil War Era razor. It never lets me down. I had a super smooth, and enjoyable 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. I used my Genco "Fluid Steel" this morning. It was not a bad shave, but this baby needs a little touch up on the hone before the next shave. I used the Maggards green apple soap this morning that @Herm2502 was kind enough to send to me. It provides a nice lather and has a potent scent of green apples. Good stuff!
Saturday Straights Anniversary Shave Proraso Pre Shave Col. Conk Lime Shaving Soap Jayaruh #18 Dubl Duck CWR Thayer's Peach WH Pinaud Vanilla Forty-four years married. I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Col. Conk Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with The Jayaruh #206 Badger brush. I did the two passes with the Dubl Duck 5/8 ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
