It just occurred to me that three of my favorite brushes were made by TSD members. Yesterday's shave was with my 30DC LE, today was with my B-400 by @twhite , tomorrow will be an @Jayaruh brush. We are fortunate to have such a group of talented artisans.

    Razor: F2 Gillette 195 Adjustable (5)
Blade: Gillette Rubie Platinum Plus (3)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

A bit of a change after a week of Injector razors. A most excellent shave from a classic razor. Two passes to a BBS with no issues.

Well after a month working my way through short stints with most of the razors in my stable, I am now back "home" with the Slim and as they say, "There's no place like home". I can relate with @SharptoothC 's comment about being competent with all DEs but master of none. Switching out razors continuously is an interesting learning experience, but without an extended period (say 30 days) with each one, you never truly master it; you just adapt to it. In contrast, shaving with the Slim on 5 this morning was so smooth and effortless that it was honestly hard to tell if there was even a blade in the razor.

I also had my first shave with Tallow and Steel Dark, and I really like this soap a lot. It smells like an exotic peppermint patty in the tub, but gives way to a coffee scent once lathered and applied. Good stuff. The lather was outstanding too. I'll have to check into more scents that they have, as this soap, for me, is easily up there with my favorites (B&M, Stirling, & Caties Bubbles). IMG_2051.JPG
