ok so I have a friend visiting her daughter in the states for 5 weeks while she is there I'm going to get her to bring me back some bits. looking online I really like the look of the carhartt bib and brace. I'm happy to order them and get them shipped to her house for her to bring back or even to get her to pick them up locally. I am needing recommendations of good trustworthy shops to use online or any places that might stock them. thanks as always Nathan. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
I usually shop for Carhartt at Tractor Supply Co., Dick's Sporting Goods, or Super Shoe. There's also a local hardware store that carries a good selection. Their prices are a bit higher, but I prefer giving them my money rather than the "Big Box" stores. It might help to know what area of the country your friend will be visiting, as some areas have different regional chains, and you might be able to shop online and have your items picked up in store to save on shipping.
sorry I should have said. she is going to Florida near international drive. seworld end if that makes sense???? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
definitely bass pro, it's on international drive. There are also some tractor supply stores, but not on international drive.
Bass Pro shop is huge! Bowling alley, restaurant and bar, oh and fishing and hunting and camping and anything else you need.
so if they decided to be mean and not shop for me (hopefully they will). would you recommend bass pro to buy from online and get shipped to there house?? thanks for all your input guys Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
For online, I'd recommend price checking on Cabela's, Bass Pro, Tractor Supply, and Sierra Trading Post. I've ordered from all four over the years, and have had good experiences from all.
thanks for all the help guys I looked on all the websites recommended and they are all around the same price apart from Sierra trading post who sell seconds?? and they are really cheap. I can get lined and in lined for the price of one pair in the UK. this isn't something we see a lot in the uk does anyone have any experience with these?? according to the website the defect will be hardly noticeable. thanks again. I bought a few pairs of Carhartt jeans as 2nds, and quite a few t-shirts. The jeans biggest flaw was some crooked stitches. Not crooked seams, just a section of stitching in an area that was triple-stitched. I didn't find anything wrong with the shirts. If you decide to go that route, maybe make sure you can return them if you find something else wrong...
thanks again. I think I'm going to go with the seconds however returns could be an issue as I'm in the UK. fingers crossed. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
Sierra Trading is mostly seconds sometimes overstock, discontinued, or other reasons for the sale price. I have had great luck there.
