Since you missed out on tagine points, I award you points for best fun fact of the day. Bonus points if you can connect it to Kevin Bacon withing seven degrees. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
I almost bought one some time ago. Then I came to my senses and realized that we already have too many kitchen items. They are super-cool looking though!
Wait till they get old enough for proms and formals. My actual rule of thumb is that I will wear shorts in public if it is above or around zero. I think that is a pretty normal thing in MN.
Isn't it just great that the insurance companies are your doctor these days, instead of your doctor being your doctor?
We had our first prom last year. One more this year. I'll wear shorts down below freezing. Zero degrees is probably below my threshold. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
17, 11 and 6. I feel every bit of that old, especially attending graduation meetings and 1st grade orientation at the same time! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
-PRC 50mm Hydra -Kent BK12 -Stirling Iced Pineapple and Coconut Lime soap -Stirling Iced Pineapple AS The Hydra needs a run over a stone. I stropped it with .5 diamond before the shave, but it just isn't there. I kind of knew that was coming, but this razor hasn't been touched up since I got it, and I just wanted to see how far that amazing edge would go. Now I know. What can I say about the BK12. I used just under three and a half grams of soap to load up that knot. Check this out: It isn't like I have mountains of extra lather in the bowl. But when I was done with four passes and a lot of touch up, look what came out of the knot: Reminds me of an old Caddy I had with a 502 in it. Most comfortable thing you could ever ride in, but did she ever use the gas.
Saturday Shave This Robert Williams Purist has always drawn blood and I intended to sell it. But I decided to try and mute the tip and heel and give it another chance, well that failed and I completely screwed up the edge and could not fix it. Enter @DaltonGang who graciously honed the razor and fixed my screw up. Today I had time and clear mind so out came the Vampire blade. The edge was super sharp and smooth. After one pass I knew if I could avoid the usually cuts this would be an epic shave. The razor usually sliced my ear but I was very careful and my ears are bloodless and still attached to my head. My fourth pass includes an ear to adam's apple pass and this razor usually scratched my neck on this pass. I think my skills have improved and no blood. No irritation, no blood and a dolphin smooth face, yup an epic shave. Irritation A+ Closeness A+ Smoothness A Sharpness A+ Razor: Robert Williams Purist Strop: Hone and prepped by @DaltonGang Brush: Thäter two band Pre: Proraso Soap: CF & AoS tallow AS: Fine Snake Bite, Speick ASB Scent: Chanel Platinum Égoïst
Very cool looking razor. I can see where it could draw some serious blood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks. This one would likely be my desert island razor. I had them make it the same length as an AC blade. I really like the cut down size. It makes it so much more maneuverable on my jawline and neck. It seems like I walk away holding the baby more often with this one than any other.
Thank you, kind Sirs. Sometimes Less is More. Props to Tom @twhite for the handle that is so nice I traded off an actual Rubberset 400 and felt no pain, and to Clint @clint64 for PIFing a great badger knot that fit it just right.
