How many aftershaves do you own?

Excluding Witch Hazel varieties, how many aftershaves (splash, balms or gels) you own? I counted mine the other day and was surprised to find that I now own 14.

 

1)Clubman, 2)Clubman VIBR, 3)Aramis, 4)Fine "American Blend", 5)Cella Lozione Dopobarba, 6)Proraso Green Lozione Dopobarba
Have a sampler from WCS that has a couple of Bay Rums and OS and Proraso Green.

 

Around 122 (give or take a few).

I might have missed some but I just did a quick count. I didn't count duplicates (like more than one bottle of vintage Old Spice) but I did count balms and splashes of the same scent.

I also didn't count samplers but I did count vintage bottles of very old stuff that isn't in usable condition but sits on the "museum" shelf.

Same goes for Avon or Skin Bracer because I wanted the decanter, not because I like the scent.

And I did count any Royall varieties even though the bottles say cologne, in my book they're aftershaves (with the exception of Vetiver Noir).

 

How do you get by?

Someone loan him some.

Trying to match really adds them up fast.

Mountain Man

 

that woulda went with me, it'd reasonably priced.

 

I haven't been able to nail one of those yet. I've only come across one or two and the pricing has been prohibitive.

 

I think it was 15 bucks, I cant read the tag. I dont think it was more than 20 though.

Yep, I'da had to snag that one.

 

I have about 20 different varieties. I stopped buying AS a few years ago too aside from some Floid type from TSD going out of business sale.

 

When I started I think I "accumulated" 3 ASBs. And I thought that was sufficient. And now I have come to realize that aftershaves are a bit like straight razors...there is always room for one more.

 

I only have 5 varieties in my den. Skin Bracer, Old Spice, Aqua Velva blue, Aqua Velva musk and a store brand knock off of Skin Bracer that is different enough that I don't really count it as a knock off.

 

I have too many but I love to match my favorite soaps.
