Another fantastic drama free shave this morning. Three and 1/4 passes ended in a near perfect shave. A splash of F&C Capri and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

As I was going to bed last night, my wife felt my face and asked if I had shaved yesterday. That blade was definitely done, so a new blade for today, and I might as well use a new razor with it. I got this in the mail yesterday, and the initial shave was pretty impressive. It was a very easy DFS. I finished off with a new AS, which not only smells great, but feels terrific on my face. I am hoping to have a short day at work as I have to head to the court house to get a replacement registration sticker for my wife's car as apparently it got lost in the mail. I hope everyone has a great day!

Thanks for the well wishes. Heading to a funeral and my flight to Chicago boards in 20 minutes. Waiting gives me a chance to catch up on the thread. You guys always make me smile. Thanks.

    Thank you Jim.

Great picture Jim. Given the great reviews of Chatillon Lux on this thread, I will need to try some next year.

Very classy photo, Clint. The table your gear is on (Cherry?) looks very nice as well.

Another cool effect, Jim. Is the Unconditional Surrender your only scent from CL?

Nice looking brush, Jared. I don't remember this one from your brush 'tournament' a few months ago. How did it do?

Stepped away from Adjustable August today to give another go with the Lux. It was a bit harsh the first time I used it, and I wanted to use it a few days to get used to it a bit. Switched in an Astra, made a nice lather, and 3 careful passes later I have a DFS. I didn't do any touch ups, but would like to continue doing a few days of Clint's '1/4 pass' on the right side of my neck, which is always my toughest area.
I had made an order at IB last week to take further advantage of the $9 Nacet deal, and added this aftershave (and perhaps a few other things) to the order. I have the soap, like the scent, saw the aftershave for $5 and thought 'Why not?'. I used it for the first time this morning, and my initial thoughts are pleasant face feel, nice little burn with a bit of menthol as well, and a fairly nondescript scent. I think it will pair fine with citrusy type scents.
    Have a great day all!

Thank you Jason. I think the dining room table is cherry. Around our house it gets used more for SOTD photos than eating.
