    Razor: Blackbird/Delta Razor Works/Blue
    Blade: Personna Super (6 )
    Brush: Oscar 11, w/Omega 10049 Boar
    Soap: Oleo Montrose Beach
    A/S: Myrsol Blue

Sticking with the blue theme. another excellent shave even though the blade was on it's last legs. Some leaves are starting to change.

Honestly, this has the nest face feel of anything in my den. I have some I consider pretty good: Stirling, WSP, and TSD to name a few. The CL has them all beat. I have found myself gravitating to woodsy scents lately, and this one smells almost like a walk-in humidor. It is terrific.

Just like soaps, I have many more AS splashes than I really need. However, I am definitely glad I got this one. I may have gotten a few other items with the razor and CL, so I will have to give these a try this weekend, but I will be using CL a few times next week, as I really like it. It may jump to the top of my favorites list.

I loved Jack Palance but I decided to toss my Skin-Bracer. I'm well-armed for the fall until it gets time to make my pre-NB18 choices. Skin-Bracer's fine, but I'm more of an Aqua Velva Man.

Some nights it all just clicks. This razor seems to just deliver, time after time. It was a chilly, windy dreary day, and the Ogallala caught my eye on the shelf. That made me go hunting through the soaps, and out came the Stubble Trubble. What a great soap. Three full passes, a hundred little touch up shots here and there, and I am BBS like a boss.

I wish it had time. I was in a meeting today and will be in the North suburbs tomorrow. Early flight home on Sunday. No time.
    Thank you for the prayers!

    How bad's it raining there?

Not bad here. They just reforecast the storm and now it stays to the west of Houston. If that holds true, other than a fair amount of rain, this shouldn't be too bad for my area. Sounds like Houston may escape quite a bit of it as well.

Corpus Christie and that area are going to take a beating, though. The folks in that area could definitely use some prayers.

A friend's mother has decided to ride it out. I hope she hasn't made a mistake as it has gotten bigger and stronger than anticipated.

Amen. My parents lived in Panama City Beach and learned quickly that it's just not worth it when their are so many motels within an hours drive inland.

If she's not on a barrier island, she should be fine in a Cat 3. This is meant to be comforting, not calloused, as I've ridden out six hurricanes in my lifetime and know a little something about them. If she is on a barrier island, she will probably be fine too, but deciding to stay there is absolutely not worth the risk. If you live on a Levy below sea level, all bets are off. Stay safe, folks!

In a non-hurricane related post, I received two samples of PAA soaps this week. The base seems to have a waxy smell that I have smelled before in dapper dragon and TSE soaps. I'm not a big fan of this underlying smell, so I won't be buying any full tins. Thought I would report in on the new soap knowledge. Cheers, gentlemen!

Yikes. Didn't realize that. That's a completely different animal. Prayers headed the way of those folks.
