I probably got fifteen whitetails out of my last box of twenty shells, and I still wear the same blaze orange wool bibs my wife bought me twenty years ago. I daydream about going on a paid hunt, all different kinds of them actually, but I probably can't ever see spending the $$$. Especially when you consider I have to travel 4000 miles round trip to do it. Bet they are tasty though. Awesome pics, thanks for sharing.
My little boy (17 months, or "just over one. Well, one year... 5 months really oh hang on you're a stranger you don't want my life story") wakes up most days at around 5.30am. I've always been an early riser so I don't really mind. Most weekends, but especially in summer, I like to get him changed and fed and go out for a walk. One of my favourite destinations is Newcastle's Quayside where I can do a loop around the river and over the bridges and grab a coffee from a stall or a random shop (try to avoid the big chains, just for fun). This was a Sunday morning in August on the way to the market which is held a little further along.
@Sara-s Those photos were taken on June 12, 2014. I was coming back from Brunswick headed onto Jekyll Island Ga and I saw this storm forming back behind me. I pulled over onto the causeway before you get onto the island and took these 3 photos just before the heavy rain and hail came down. Today I had been thinking about hurricane Irma that's going to come through here which reminded me of these photos I took.
