Neal @NCoxSTL I've got some blades coming in and a tuck of them have your name on them!

    Razor: Schick J1 Injector
    Blade: Schick Proline B (4)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Shave #4 and the Proline B is still hanging in. No issue with G-slides today and an issue-free near-BBS.

I'm considering skipping Thursday's shave so that I will be ready to start SEptember with some decent beard growth and a newly acquired MMOC.

I sniffed some soap samples this morning and Taylor won. The Cedarwood is supposed also have grapefruit, crisp pepper, patchouli, musk, amber and vetiver. Citrus was the only other scent I picked up. Lather came easy in the small mug and the boar made for creamy application. I might back my Fat Boy down a couple notches next use of the Med Prep blade. Very close reduction with a little tenderness brought me into DFS. Alum sparkled louder than I prefer. The old Old Spice finished comfortably, so I splashed on a second dose.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

    Thank you Mark.

Yes those are leaves falling off the Bradford Pear tree already this year. Strange since no other trees are dropping leaves. However, I noticed that every pear tree in the neighborhood is doing the same thing.

Thank you Andrew. This is my favorite vintage razor by far.

The grain on the brush and bowl really pop.

Thanks, Guys! At $120 used, this is my most expensive brush, and if you'd have told me 6 months ago that I'd shell that out for a shaving brush I'd have told you that you were nuts. Having said that it's a great knot, super comfy, and the cool factor even got my girls excited about it. Besides it was bought with birthday funds I received as a gift from my folks, so it was a guilt free win/win!

I felt that way before I bought my Simpson's CH2. Then I was enabled into it and have no regrets.

I'd like to say that I made the bowl to match, but it is just an old Crabtree & Evelyn bowl that I put samples in.

Same thing in my neighborhood. Bradford Pears are looking fairly Fall-ish and thin already. Perhaps too much rain?

That is a really nice razor. Mine is also a 72 1/2. I would love to snag one in a square point.
