Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
Cream: KMF fragrance-free

One final shave for August with the J1 and Proline B. Apparently, this blade still has some life left in it as I was able to get a BBS out of it. I'm still not sure that the blade holds up as well as a Chick, but it does seem to do well with a bit of care.

And that brings another month to a close. Much of this month has been about Injectors though I did stay with the theme of Adjustable razors for Fatboy Fridays. Along the way, I even got to finally figure out what the deal is with the Dollar Store Dorco blades and they are not really that bad a blade.

SEptember will be about Gem razors. I've been somewhat mixed about them so far but hope that a Gem MMOC and some serious focus might change my mind.

Glad you figured out the job thing before it happened, rather than after. Honestly, most people don't have a job they enjoy. The fact that you do, leads me to believe that your "gut" led you correctly.

I agree. I bought Jeff's Soap for the cause, but am very happy to have it in my den. It's a keeper for sure.

In other news, anyone heard from fuzzy @wchnu lately? It's been a great month, but I miss his commentary. Proceed along the path...

 

Not really. I use the Collect App on my iPhone. So I just save the SOTD photo in the correct date. At the end of the month I just save and share for the month. I like using the app because I take the photos each weekend for the upcoming week. The app helps me remember which photo I am supposed to post for each day.

 

lol..broken record..just type "Great shot, Clint", and edit and move it where needed .

 

I never had Floid Blue as I started getting into After Shaves after it was discontinued (and won't pay the going eBay rates for it). I have Barrister's Reserve Cool, which, as most are aware, is based on it. I obviously can't comment how close it is to Floid, but it is a wonderful scent and product. Is there anyone out there who has both to comment on how close Reserve is to the original?
