I have been waiting on delivery of a gift set of Monsieur Musk a/s and cologne.According to Fedex tracking it was actually going to be delivered a day early by the postal service.....yaaaay--yippeeee. I got home tonight from work after midnight and asked the wife if my package had arrived, she looked puzzled and said there was nothing in the mail box.So I went and looked under the carport ..nothing walked out with a light and looked on the seat of my Geo tracker...nothing.One last place to look ,my pickup.Yep ,there it is on the tailgate in the rain.I am so p.o.'d right now I really hate sorriness.Glad it is the middle of the night, the Post Office will get a nasty phone call later today. The USPS employee could have pulled up 7-8 yards and placed the pkg under the carport .Instead looks like they pulled up to the back of the truck and tossed the box onto the tailgate. On a day with rain in the forecast.Idiot.Looks like Fedex needs to carry out fulfillment of their duties and not delegate final delivery to the USPS. I will not even try out the product at this time since my mood would impact my impression of the the product in a negative manner.I guess I'll give it a shot later today after I wake. Lazy azzed morons who are well paid really torque my azz.GGGGRRRRRRRRR
And if that truck belonged to a friend and left the driveway, wouldn't have been nice. If a package does not fit in the mailbox, the post office is supposed to deliver it to the door.
I've said it before - The problem with idiots is they don't know they're idiots. Hope nothing in the box was ruined.
At least you got it. I hope it wasn't damaged. Government idiots are the worst. They give all Government employees a bad name.
Aren't they (FedEx) the same folks that delivered someone's new TV by chucking it over a fence not too long ago?
Don't get me started on the totally lack of customer service of many delivery carrier's. They truly act as though you (the customer) are bothering them. I'm about to get blacklisted by the Pony Express. They just can't figure it out.
I was wondering the same thing. That was a whole lot o getting mad if the stuff was okay. Paging @urrlord
When I was a kid, I enjoyed a record called something like American History Explained To Children. Each section would begin with a song. There was a story on the Pony Express, and the song was called The Pony Express-The Best In The West. Maybe not, eh?
Not in my neck of the West! I have 2 packages coming today, one is a soap and it'll be 105F later. I stress out every time I have a package coming, heck even my regular mail is a mess, and I've gone all paperless.
I receive a puck of shaving soap that sat in the 110 F sun began to melt and separate in the package. I was so upset, that I got it two months ago and it's set in a drawer unused and gross. I had been a gift I received from someone. I think its ruined ... gray and mushy.
I get a the complaints overall, but how is this their fault? Someone mailed you a package, they delivered it. Was it late?
This melted soap thing comes up allot. I think as buyers we need to be smarter. If you know you have 3 months of your favorite left buy it in the fall/spring/winter and miss the summer. BST stuff is tough because you don't know when it will come up. Sent from my S8+ using Tapatalk
I guess I'm just plain lucky. I've yet to encounter any issues with any of the "big three " delivery services.
I figure next time I need / want some soap I'll buy local ... https://saponedipaolo.com Or buy during the winter.
I'm nice to my mailman and we give him a Christmas card every year with money in it. All of my mail is very well taken care of.
