Saturday Straight's SE Shave Proraso Pre Shave Jeff's Soap Shaving Soap Jayaruh #213 Synthetic Fredrick Reynolds 5/8 Schick G w/Personna Stainless CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Jeff's Soap Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #213 Synthetic brush. I did the first pass with the Fredrick Reynolds 5/8. Because it is SEptember, I did the second pass with the Schick G 66 with a Personna Stainless blade. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SOTD SEptember 2nd Schick L1 Personna mini hair shaper Stirling Mountain Man Surrey W/ 24mm TGN 3 band synthetic Had an amazing first shave this morning with the Schick L1. These Personna blades are very nice, just as sharp as the Chicks but maybe a tad smoother. I had so much lather that I did 3 passes and a little touch up and the baby was waiting! Love the scent of Mountain Man. Stirling SEptember is going to be a great month! Have a great Labor Day weekend my friends Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
So far so good Andrew. We'll have to start getting the wood split and inside. It went down to 36F last night.
SOTD September 2, 2017 Blade: Schick Razor: Schick G1 Brush: Artisan badger Lather: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man Post: Witch hazel with M-bomb, Stirling Sharp Dressed Man aftershave WTG, XTG G1 injector today. My favorite injector as it was my first but also is consistent and smooth as butter always. Really a joy to use. Have a great weekend!
This was my first use with it, but like other Stirling products it is top-notch. I can't quite describe the scent but I know it's a clone of a Creed cologne. Slick and protective.
I love the scent of Fine Platinum which is also a take on Creed. I'll have to keep that in mind for Sharp Dressed Man. I enjoyed Stirling soaps but have had hit and miss luck with the scents.
SEtempber 2, 2017 Shave: Pre-shave: Shower Soap: VDH Deluxe + Cremo Brush: VDH Boar... still shedding several hairs each time, but man it sure whips up lather! Razor: Gem Micromatic Clog-Pruf (4th use this week) Blade: Gem by Personna SE blade (4th use this week, probably the last) Post Shave: Witch Hazel, Nivea Balm, Aqua Velva Musk I'll need to change out the blade for next time. My problem area is the throat and when a blade gets dull I can tell by the irritation trying to get a BBS shave in that location. Otherwise, the blade worked well for both a face and head shave.... I had plenty of lather! My wife graciously allowed me to use her recently completed "mitten bowl" as a background for this photo. We're both of Norwegian heritage and she is loves to practice the traditional folk art of Norwegian Rosemaling.
Sharp Dressed Man is a clone of Creed Green Irish Tweed. And Executive Man and Fine Platinum are both clones of Creed Aventus. Mountain Man it's also a Creed clone of Silver Mountain Water. They are all amazing scents! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

SEPTEMBER 2 SE September shave #2 Hardware: MMCP, GEM SS ptfe, 30mm Maggard Tuxedo, Doug Smith shave dish/bowl. Software: TSE Tallow soap Blood Orange, Astringent DG/Body, M&R Rose Water, Humphreys Citrus, Nivea 2in1 Aftershave lotion/balm. First time out with the "Clog Pruf" and it was an excellent shave. Very efficient and comfortable 2 pass shave.
Hmmm... looks like I should get in on this with my GEMs, which shockingly haven't been in rotation for a good while. You're a bad influence, @Jayaruh But, I'm reserving the right to not use them every day in Sept. Just because.
