Well, with 2 days in(out of 30)it's too early to project a winner(chuk yuk yuk), but "Yes" appears headed to blow away the field.

I shake all of mine, regardless of what it might say about the matter.

All that shaking for Ogallalla BR helps balance the clove smell with that of other goodies, right?

The Stirling Electric Sheep Splash has floaties in it that makes me feel like I need to shake it before I splash. Everything else I have, I don't bother with shaking.

Absolutely! Plans of action are paramount to our critical questions. :D

Right. At least in part. Basically, there are more frag oils in it than can stay dissolved easily and there's no emulsifier, iirc. So, if you don't shake very well immediately before use, you'll be putting mostly frag oils on your skin which could burn. (And the scent wouldn't be blended properly either.)

Y'know, since I'll be headed West in the not too distant future, I could give Ogallalla a TRY, and just shake the heck out of it.

Shake VIGOROUSLY for at least 30 seconds. I'm not kidding.
I like the peppercorn & lime formulation the most. The straight bay rum is also very nice. In fact, the only straight bay rum that I like.

Oh, there's more than one of their Bay Rums? Or do they do regular A.S. too like your P&L?

Yes, they do different scents all based on bay rum as well as bath and shave soaps and a few other things.
The scents off the top of my head:
    • bay rum
    • bay rum (double strength)
    • BR, peppercorn and limes
    • BR and sandalwood
    • BR and lemon grass
    • BR and vanilla
    • BR, sage and cedar
    • BR and orange
They have sample packs available, so you might want to go that route.

You can't buy directly from them, but they list several websites that sell their stuff.

Ogallala looks like a vinaigrette salad dressing when it sits in the bottle.

I just saw most of them on the site. This is most interesting!! I'd go for the Lemongrass, and the Sage&Cedar.

Limes and peppercorn always seemed interesting to me. Never tried any of it.
