Old Spice ships from 1973-1976 had 2 flags and an anchor showing off the two bow sails. Not sure if you can see this in the photo, however, I have another decanter that shows it better and I'll point this out when I post it.

Software: TSE Tallow soap Black Tux, DG Astringent, M&R Rose Water, Humphreys Citrus W/H, Nivea 2in1 Aftershave lotion/balm.

Another great shave with the "Clog Pruf". An excellent 2 pass and slight buffing and BBS achieved. Smooth, clean and supple. No complaints......

 

Doug, nice set-up. Thanks for taking me down memory lane of these Old Spice decanters. I completely forgot about them until seeing all of the pictures on TSD!

SEptember shave #4

Hardware: Blackland Sabre, GEM SS ptfe #4, Omega Ovangkol Boar.
Software: TSE Tallow Cherry Bomb, DG Astringent, M&R Rose Water, Humphreys Citrus, Nivea 2in1 Aftershave lotion/balm.

A quick early morning shave. Shaved yesterday evening, so just a little over 12 hours of growth. It was a 1 pass and extended buffing, back to smooth as silk. The Sabre was smooth, easy and efficient. Have a great day and shaves Gents....

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The TSD Iced Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the B 400 badger brush by Tom. I did the two passes with the GEM Damaskeene and CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

No pics because I'm too lazy. But, I had my first SE Sept. GEM shave today and it's been a while. A lot of technique has been lost and I ended up with two parallel scrapes along my jugular. Hmm.... good thing I don't need to see too many people today.

Wetware was Body Shoppe Maca Root SC and my @Jayaruh #167.

 

I feel for you, man! That happened to me once with a Clog Pruf.... third time I used the razor and a new blade. For a week, my face looked like I had been scratched by a cat. I didn't touch that razor again for months.

This is my planned shave for today. Leaving for a golf tournament shortly. Hope the weather clears. The Admiral Flint Decanter was Old Spice's first Admiral Decanter.
