Good luck and prayers to all in the face of Irma. I've got relatives leaving Miami heading to Jacksonville to stay with other relatives... all ready to go to Atlanta if necessary.
SEptember 6 SOTD: Stirling Synthetic Brush Stubble Trubble Up & Adam Gem 1912 Stirling Unscented PSB Fine American Blend It was a nice smooth shave this morning. I enjoy this soap, and it provides for dome mental wake up with the scent. I got a package in yesterday (a first since before the storm) with some AS samples generously PIFed by @Linuxguile, so I had to try one out. I went with some Fine American Blend, and I definitely enjoyed it. This looks to be the best part of my day to this point, as well are hitting that stage at work where progress isn't happening as quickly as anyone would like and tempers are flaring a bit. I hope everyone is having a great day!
With all you have going on, I'm amazed you have the time to take and post such a great photo. Good luck with work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gem OCMM Gem Stainless (1) Semogue BC Texugo Stirling Gentleman Superior 70 Bay Rum Vacation is coming to an end, so I needed to get rid of a bit of growth. Nice shave this evening.
I'm glad the box finally made it there! I hope you enjoy everything that was inside. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Wednesdays evening September 6 - new soaps Supply Provision Single Edge injector on two-dot plate / Personna ( 6) 30DC LE Maple Cashmere synthetic brush Rockwell Razors Barbershop cream Alum and Thayers Witch Hazel Original A parcel arrived today from Rockwell Razors with some new gadgets. The razor stand and leather cover fit my Rockwell 6s perfectly (although the stand is in a Gunmetal finish to match my Model T if it ever rolls off the production line.) The other contents were a tub and a tin of Rockwell's new housebranded cream and soap. They are a vegan formulation and both are offered right now only in "Barbershop". This Barbershop is listed as having a mixture of Leather, Neroli, Anise, Lilac and Cedar. I haven't a clue how to describe the scent but I like it. The soap is a fairly hard puck dropped into a metal tin. The cream is a very soft, white cream that comes in a plastic tub but could equally easily be squeezed out of a tube. It can be massaged in and used brushless; I chose to face lather it with a damp synthetic. The result was a very good shave. The cream is easy to use and has all the protective characteristics needed in a shaving cream. The products are made for Rockwell in Canada. My normal two passes done with my SP injector gave me a near BBS. One speck of blood showed on my chin after the first pass but the weeper sealed just with the between-passes rinse. Other than that, no problems and quiet alum.
Super pic! That is a nice looking razor. My interest in the old Gems has been rekindled a bit lately.
I had to look up pruno. All my time has been short stints in county, so we never really got around to any wine making.
Thank you. The knot is soft with tons of backbone. Based on this knot I want to try another Vie Long 2 band brush. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
