To help commemorate the U.S. Bicentennial, there where three “coin” decanters were sold in 1975. Three coins commemorate George Washington, John Paul Jones, and Thomas Jefferson.

 

Continuing a theme, I broke out the Damaskeene today. It's been nearly 2 years since it's seen use and only the 3rd time out in my Den. What a great choice. Baby dolphin smooth, no drama, and the definition of a smooth shave.

Tonights.
I had a very nice 3 pass shave with my heavy hitters. My ER 1909 and my heavyweight WDC6 brush. I think they look great together.

On a side note. I hope all who are in Irma's wrath will be safe. Take care my friends.

Black Hawk today. Terrific shave in the end. I should use this razor more often. Smooth and enjoyable. I would like to try some other AC razors down the line but am not looking or wanting to buy any hardware at the moment. I know there are some good ones out there but the Black Hawk works quite well for me.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the B 400 badger brush by Tom. I did the two passes with the GEM Bullet-Tip and CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
