Gorgeous razor and brush, Neal! I've got a G1 with a handle that split and broke in half (never put one of these in an ultrasonic cleaner BTW, it was in perfect shape before this) that I repaired with some superglue and epoxy. She isnt the prettiest but the head is in perfect shape. I've been waiting for the right moment to offer it to someone as a PIF, and that moment just came. PM me if you are interested. Lovely Bullet Tip, Jim! Amazing photo, Clint! The Cobra and the BSB-2 make a great pair! Another great Bullet Tip by another Jim! Deja Vu! Another great BW, Perry! Catching the attention of the Mrs. (in a positive way) is always a good thing!! Jason, I'm guessing that you knocked the blade away from one of the stops when you dropped it and had uneven exposure on the shave. You could try to realign it by inserting and removing the key, or change in out just fot good measure. It's never fun when you see red. Great setup Brian! Awesome photo, Mark! Congrats for you and your son!
SOTN Stirling SEptember 7th Schick Injector Type F Personna Mini Hair Shaper Stirling 24mm synthetic Stirling Iced Pineapple soap and AS A few days ago I said that the PAL Injecto-Matic was the most aggressive Injector that I had. And while I still think that is true, the Type F is a very close second. Kept a light touch and 2.5 passes later I was BBS smooth! I absolutely love the Iced Pineapple combo, I think that it is my favorite soap and AS right now. These Personna blades are working fabulously for me. I'm going to have to get a pack of the Ted Pellas to see if they are the same blade. Have a great day my friends! P.S. TGIF!!
From what I have seen, the results seem to be mixed. I agree with you that the scent notes in their soaps are off, but the soaps smell amazing. I think that's due to the soap base they use. The lather can be a little touchy. It requires significant overloading on the puck to build a good lather in a bowl or on the face, because it is a milled soap. Water has to be added slowly, or the lather collapses. While I love the stuff, I probably wouldn't recommend it to a new shaver over some of the easier to use artisan soaps.
There he is for the weekly photo opp. He is getting cuter as he grows. Oh, the F Type looks great but gets overshadowed by your son.
Thank you, He doesn't let much escape his mouth! Thank you Clint! I'm resigned to the fact that pictures of him will always overshadow any pic I could take of shave gear!
Iced Pineapple is amazing stuff! I was on the fence about trying it as I usually don't care much for overly fruity scents. @PickledNorthern talked me into it and I am forever grateful. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
I agree. I absolutely love the scent on mine, and felt that it fell into the general idea of what a green Tweed might entail. The lather takes some work. It's easy to get a light, foamy lather. A more dense lather takes some patience. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
First. I over loaded my brush this morning like I was trying to lather on the cake and was rewarded for my inattention by some lovely lather. Second. When did you get your CT? I just noticed it. Congrats, it fits your avatar.
