Friday was the second anniversary of the start of my Wet Shaving Journey. I had considered going with the '60s SuperSpeed that I started with, but ultimately decided to just stay with what I had been using for the rest of the week. For today, however, I decided to change things up and go with the Fatboy. Two great razors and two great shaves.

 

I made the decision today to toss out the L&L Grooming Marshlands A.S. In its place will be the existing Avon Maxwell 23 Tribute. If all goes well by the end o the year, I'll be LOADED with aftershaves(soaps, too)to get me through NB18. I got to thinking that I like the Avon Max 23 Tribute better than Marshlands. But L&L Grooming does have a nice assortment of aftershaves, so I may get a different type in 2019 and beyond.

 

Why would you toss it? It won't rot.

 

Ahh, I just wasn't overly satisfied with it. I mean, it wasn't TERRIBLE, just not the right one for me.

 

I got ahold of Aqua Velva Ice Sport yesterday. And used it today. Love it.

Second shave with the Schick and another very fine one it was. Smooth and very effective with little to no irritation. Near-BBS shave with the Stirling Barbershop scent that may be my favorite of their soaps. I'm very nearly out of the sample so a purchase may be in my near future. The West Coast brush did its usual fine job. I'll use the Veg in the morning to try and make Sunday a better sales day than today was. After a fine shave with the Injector and Barbershop scent I thought this picture might be appropriate. Have a great Sunday!

 

Oh yeah? I'll look around for it, too. How's the menthol level?

Shaved earlier tonight before my wife and I went out to a movie without the kids. Can't think of the last time we've done that, actually. I'll switch up injectors for my next shave Monday morning. Was wondering which one to go with and I saw Jim's great picture of his E3, so I think I'll follow suit.
Changed the blade in the '66' after a dropped razor yesterday morning and had a routine 3 pass plus a little touch up very near BBS shave. Fantastic lather from the Baker Street. Just top notch lathers every day with these Stirling Soaps. Finished off with the Old Spice that I had added several drops of Glycerin to earlier. Another great suggestion from @clint64. Face still feels great hours later.

Saw one bottle at a drug store yesterday. I'll try to pick it up tomorrow for the Cheap Stink mini-focus.

 

I finished a bottle of Clubman Hair Tonic today.

 

It reminds me of the old Polo Sport. I dig it a lot.
