@SharptoothC the TSD Scents I have tried and really like: Iced SubZero AS Splash (I could write a commercial about this AS, it's very, very good.) Soaps: Floid Type Florida Water Type Barber Shoppe Sandalwood
It's loading now. Comcast was having some outages so it may have had to do with that. Thanks Queen! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
The picture tells me you definitely have variety and enough soap to last a good long while Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes. @Paul Turner - @Jayaruh was one of my early mentors. He gave me the cold water technique, which I also use daily.
I cold water shave most days. Ever so often I'll warm it on really cold days. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Ok, I'm looking to grab a TSD soap, I like barber shop scents usually, but the stirling barber shop scent leaves me cold. I love the American Blend from Mr Fine. Is the TSD barber shoppe more like stirling or like American Blend.
It seems Al might have had the decency to declare his agreement in a more professional way, rather than sneak in from the back door. Such a disrespectful genius.
It's not like either of those! TSD Barber Shoppe is a bright scent to me. It's a terrific scent......perhaps some basil in there? Not cologne-ish or powdery at all. I have used Stirling Barbershop and use Fine American Blend a lot but the TSD iteration can't be compared to either one. It's a much different scent. Wickham 1912 Cashmere is a really close match to TSD Barber Shoppe. Not sure if you've ever smelled that.
Well, I just placed an order for a stick of Bourbon Vanilla. I'm looking forward to taking it for a spin. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
I'm glad to see "Don't Know, Never Tried Em" with a commanding lead over "No, Don't Care For Em" at this writing.
http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/the-shave-den-lemon-cedarwood-shaving-soap-review.53612/ It was announced that they would be discontinued awhile back. Sometimes those things are unavoidable. C'est la vie. Is there still a pre-existing stock of these soaps being sold? There are 80 million shaving soaps available nowadays. Sometimes it takes awhile to get around to using a specific soap. Also, I wanted to try some other shaving soaps first to have a baseline for comparison.
