Post Shave: Thayer's witch hazel, Nivea Sensitive Men's Post Shave Balm, Aqua Velva AS

I really like this RazoRock soap. It lathers well and I had enough for both a face and head shave. Normally, I find I can't do more than 2 comfortable shaves with these Chinese made Schick blades, but this one I stretched to 3 shaves. In spite of 48 hours of stubble, it was a comfortable shave and I got a DFS.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 synthetic brush. I did the first pass with the Gold Dollar 6/8 straight and finished with the Schick G and a Personna Stainless blade. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Glorious!! A man refined taste!

 

Tonight's shave was with a Rare Monkey Tail Razor. I had a nice 2 pass shave, that left me with a DFS. 2 small nicks, due to two ingrown hairs I didn't know about. Nice little razor.

Razor- Bengall. Monkey Tail.
Brush- Semogue 1800 Boar
Soap- Stirling Glastonbury
Aftershave- Arctic Blue

 

Where are you getting all these Old Spice containers, Doug? It's crazy! I'm expecting next that you'll be posting a shot of Old Spice packaged in one of Blackbeard's original boots, or in the base of Columbus' sextant or something.
