Thanks! I love my shave setups. I spent a great deal of time piecing them together. This forum is a great place to show them off. We're not overcrowded and real enthusiasts gather here, so it's the kind of spot I like.

 

Glad your Bali shaves were awesome! Having said that, based on your pictures, I'm pretty sure I could have shaved with a dull clam shell and looked like a mangy dog and still enjoyed that trip. Glad you didn't have to go that route.

Feeling better and thought, well hey, why not give the M2 a few more shaves just to see how the blade holds up, eh? So, that's what we'll do. I'm almost out of the Stirling Barbershop sample but have enough for a few more shaves. Great lather with the LE and two passes and touch up got a very very nice DFS. Very smooth shave on the 4th go on the blade and no issues at all. A better shave than the Fatip last night, though my physical condition had a lot to do with that. I'll use the Old Spice in the morning on the way to work.

While all may be quiet in Colorado it is assuredly not so in STL tonight. Protests continue downtown, which is a fair distance from me so we won't see anything up close and personal. Just another night of celebrating the 1st amendment in the Lou!

With the Stirling Barbershop again I thought another old time shop would be nice. This one from Fairmont, North Carolina!

Memorable Shave
The scent of Boreal takes me back to the cabin my family used to rent in Northern Michigan when I was a kid. The cedar from inside the cabin and the spruce and birch from the forest outside. The lather is outstanding, as all T+S in my experience. Such a smooth and easy shave helps me feel better - I wanted it to last longer. The splash goes on milky and absorbs quickly.

Stirling MITA today. 20 seconds to load the Elite/TGN Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Platinum-Plus in the Gillette Fat Handle Tech. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Executive Man aftershave.
