Just got home after a weekend camping... wood splitting, carving feather sticks for tinder, hiking, etc...
A Honda Fit? How many trips did you have to make? I was going to make a comment about it being a tight fit, but that's a pretty bad pun, even for this forum.
Bahaha... I stopped counting at 5 trips. The yard waste center is only 2 miles from my house, so it wasn't too bad. The Fit is a handy little car. With the rear seats folding flat, I have just about the same cargo space in the back that I did with my Grand Cherokee. It can't handle the same weight, but you can cram a lot of crap in it. This car has been a trooper for me.
I finished rebuilding a 1985 Honda Shadow 700. Test drive in a bit when traffic dies down. I paid $300 for this bike not running 6 weeks ago and now I have just under $850 in parts and tools in it so a running bike for $1300. Here is the day I got it.
Sorry but any involvement of the word miniature automatically makes it not manly. I don't write the rules.
So, making a miniature ship in a bottle wouldn't be manly? BTW, just how miniature a table saw are we talking about?
http://www.micromark.com/MicroLux-Mini-Miter-Cut-Off-Saw See the link for a pic & desription. It's designed for people who build scale models.
After looking at the link photo I will have to side with the penguin @richgem on this one. But cutting down arrows does qualify as manly. @Sara-s were they new arrows? What type of arrows do you use? I would love to see pics of your set up.
I'm going to be contrary and say that anything that involves a power tool, no matter how small, is inherently manly. Ditto on the arrows.
I use carbon-fiber arrows. One of my arrows got stuck in the wooden target stand, at this weekend's tournament. We managed to remove it, but the end (near the point) was damaged. There was no way I could use it again. But my husband has a shorter draw length than I do, so I cut 2" off it, put in a new point, so now he can use it. Beats trashing it. Here's my bow;
I like your bow. Very nice set up. But I for what ever reason I thought you're a recurve shooter. I haven't picked up my bow in years. I need to get back into it.
I've had the devil's own time trying to find Spanish Cedar to finish off my DIY humidor project. I finally bit the bullet and ordered some from Amazon. Should arrive sometime next week. Also gonna put some type of brass plate over the screw holes. It woulda been cheaper to buy one.
