The Lounge is an interesting scent. It does remind me of a bar soap from my past, but certainly not Irish Spring. I can't pin a name on it but it's a bar soap scent that isn't around anymore. Soapy Tabac was my first impression.
19 SEptember 2017 Blade Focus Shave Pre: Hot water, soap from the container and a hot towel Razor: GEM MMOC Blade: TREET Brush: Omega 6212 Silvertip Soap: "Jeff's Soap" by Cold River Soap Works Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer After Shave: Speick for Men, Erfrischende Pflege For this morning's shave I went with "Jeff's Soap". Smells great, it's slick and leaves a great face feel at the end. The 6212 had no difficulty whipping up a great lather. Though it's soft on the face, it has enough backbone to do the job with soaps. The MMOC/TREET duo took their usual 2.5 passes to make my mug nice and smooth. Not quite a BBS, but damn close. Splashed on some Speick, which goes very well with Jeff's. See y'all in the funny papers! HANG TOUGH JEFF!!
I'm seeing a bit of the bottom of the Fields&Streams puck-hopefully I can 2 more shaves from it. Certainly 1.
This was an interesting shave. This blade is small and on a straight handle, but seemed to shave different from my Kamisori. I was able to get a great shave with only a small scratch inflicted by the heel. It's actually a nice blade. L & L Cuir et Épices Soap Wolf Whiskers Brush Geo. Korn The Real Razor Lucky Tiger L & L Cuir et Épices After Shave Have fun!
Nice picture, Brian. I like the filter you used. I had the pleasure of using a Korn razor I borrowed from Adam, and it was a great razor. Your razor looks like a fantastic example.
I'll give L&L another go sometime-the Marshlands was OK but too bland. Your Cuir et Epices could be the answer.

I still love the look of that Superior. I am a sucker for lather catchers. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

9 times out of 10, I could get away with a single pass visually. The other passes are for pride and/or fun. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Stunning photo Clint! The OneBlade really is a gorgeous razor! Cool photo, Jim! the 1914 always looks so aggressive with that massive blade exposure. I hope you enjoy it, definitely not Irish Spring! Great photo Perry, that badger knot looks super soft! Nice setup, Jim! That is an interesting razor, Brian. Great photo too! Stunning razor, Mark! and
