Went to the eye doctor for the first time in 4 years. Was surprised that my vision really hadn't changed very much. Just a slight bump up in both lenses. I hate getting those drops that make you look like an alien.

But, on the up side, he said my eyes looked very healthy. He didn't add "for a man your age", but I could tell it was implied.

Where did you find the Spanish cedar? And why did it require that particular variety?

 

Spanish cedar will hold some moisture, what you want in a humidor, but is mold resistant.

 

Spanish Cedar retains moisture. Cigars need a Relative Humidity between 70 & 75 percent and a temperature around 70-72 degrees.
There is an outfit up in Connecticut that sells quarter inch thick pieces of various widths and lengths. I ordered a couple of sheets that should be here at the end of the month.

 

Are you sure you want to order from CT? It's a known home to penguin colonies at both the Mystic Aquarium and at the Norwalk one. I mean, your cedar might get "accidentally" infected with penguin cooties or something.

Maybe if you dipped the tips in poison dart tree frog secretions @richgem would consider it manly. Both manly and stupid, but sometimes they are synonymous.
