Wednesday shave I just refreshed this Filarmonica and the edge was very smooth and very sharp, I was hoping for an epic shave but the smooth didn't last long enough so I just an excellent shave. Today was a monumental shave: it was my first go at a TSD soap. Schick L1 30DC brush TSD Bourbon Vanilla Barbasol Brisk L'Occitane Eau De Baux I really dig the scent on this soap. I opted for the lanolin shave stick. It lathers well and I got a great shave with it. I found it quite easy to dial in a good, slick lather. The Schick continues to impress me. The 30DC brush got the honors to keep it in the family. The scent of the soap reminded me quite a bit of L'Occitane's Eau De Baux, so I rolled with it. I was correct and it paired very nicely. Tuesday night September 19 - still at the drugstore Supply Provision Single Edge injector on two-dot plate / Personna ( 12) Neutrogena Skin Clearing Shave Cream Alum and Neutrogena Razor Defense Post Shave Lotion I did another test lather with my Semogue SOC boar brush using my Italian soft almond frankensoap and got what appeared to be an excellent lather. I left it to dry on the brush while I proceeded to anoint myself with the brushless shave cream. It was another excellent shave with the Neutrogena. I had at least a socially acceptable shave after one pass but tonight I rubbed on some cream again and did my normal second pass. I also used the alum to confirm what I already knew -- it was an error-free shave. I then used the lotion to finish the routine. I was left cleanshaven, well-hydrated and not at all greasy feeling. I rather expect I will refill both Neutrogena products when they run out.
SEptember 20, 2017 OneBlade Genesis V2 Feather FHS Shavemac Silvertip D01 3 Band Mystic Water Lilac Captain’s Choice Bay Rum This week is going by very quickly. The OneBlade is addicting and boring at the same time with its ease of use and consistency. So it is no surprise that the results were another automatic near perfect shave to start the day. A splash of Captain's Choice Bay Rum and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Thank you Jim. Love the filter effect Jim. I know I have said it earlier but that is one very cool razor case.
20 SEptember Williams Wednesday Pre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: JR #180, 22mm Badger Soap: Williams, Stetson scented Razor: Brooklyn 1912, GEM Blade: Treet (14) Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse and Stetson AS Photo: Today is Williams Wednesday and for Will. Wed. I used a Stetson scented Williams. The day before I had issues with not getting as close a shave as I would have liked from this blade and a LC. I thought it might have been the blade getting close to the end of it's usefulness. I have been able to get really good results this month from this Brooklyn and blade combo after some tips from Tom on razor angle. So before I tossed the blade I wanted to try it again with the Brooklyn. Boy am I glad I did. I was treated to a three pass damn near BBS shave. This blade has definitely NOT reached it's end. Though I believe that the blade has been conditioned to the 1912 and that is why it did not do as well yesterday. I finished with some Stetson AS. I will try the LC again tomorrow with a new PAL blade.
