I designed it using their 'Configurator' and the scales are cocobolo. Using the configurator the price for a full custom was very reasonable and Ulrik was a pleasure to work with.... plus the turnaround time was good.

Supply Provision Single Edge injector on three-dot plate / Personna ( 13)
    Neutrogena Skin Clearing Shave Cream
Alum and Neutrogena Razor Defense Post Shave Lotion

When I first used the Supply Provision Single Edge, I bloodied myself a bit on plate one. I then moved up to plate two and had nicks and weepers galore. I dropped back to plate one and had used the razor there ever since.

This month, focussing on the razor, I started on plate one as usual. After three or four days getting used to the razor again, however, I edged up to plate two. I expected some blood but this time it wasn't bad. A couple insignificant weepers on a couple days but nothing much.

Today, after a week of good shaves on plate two, for my 13th shave of the month with this razor (and the 13th on this blade as well), I hurled caution to the winds and leapt up to plate three...

To be truthful, I rather expected pink lather (well, okay, smudgily bloodied translucent gel). The result? Nothing! I did my usual two passes, relathering in between, and finished without a speck of blood in sight. Instead of weepers, weepers everywhere, it was silent alum and a shave that I am prepared to declare a BBS.

It appears that I have finally learned the right combination of hold angle, light pressure and skin stretching to get good, clean, safe shaves from this razor on any level of aggressiveness. Either that or the Neutrogena is really hot stuff... I am very pleased tonight; surprised but pleased.

Having said that, I think I will probably drop the razor back down a plate and continue to use it on two as I still feel more comfortable doing a daily shave there.

I agree 100% with you - Freddy was a visionary! And, I tend to agree with the message of the song. Give me Ashley Graham over Claudia Schiffer any day! ;)

A great shave this morning was the perfect start to my last work day of the week. The little Shavemac continues to whip up the lather with little effort providing a good scrub at the same time. Two and 1/2 passes ended in another drama free near perfect shave. A splash of witch hazel with menthol followed by Cool Water EDT and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Nice and easy shave this morning. The 1912 worked really well despite a couple of tiny weepers below my bottom lip. Very light pressure and long strokes get me the best results from the 1912. I've enjoyed rotating through the razors and using the SEs every other shave over this month. The Stirling software setups have been tremendous as well. No complaints today.

    Have a great day!

Thanks, Clint! The band is doing really well. We've been impacted by weather and rain a lot this season. Seems like at least one day a week we either have to cancel or rehearse inside. That happened two days ago as a big storm came out of nowhere right when school released. We had to stay inside. But that's how it goes! You can't control the weather. The kids have been great so far. We go to our first competition next Saturday and will play our fifth football game tomorrow.

The ATG focus has helped. That pass is now second nature and I’m consistently getting nice shaves. Enjoy your last day of summer.

I realized that I hadn't used this TFS soap in quite a while. Got a great lather from it this morning, thick and rick; even better than I remember with this soap. 3 passes to a DFS+. This blade is still running smoothly.

I've obviously mentioned my neck rash/itchiness on and off since summer started. I've known due to the times of flare up that it wasn't necessarily shaving related, but I couldn't get to the bottom of it. I think I know the basis of what's going on now a bit. I run a fair amount. I took almost two weeks off due to the air quality from the fires. Zero itchiness. I could throw any product on my neck, like I've always been able to, without issue. Started running again on the weekend. The irritation has come back. I don't think running has caused this, as I would have always had it, but it has exacerbated it. Throwing fragrance on it doesn't help, either, it would seem. I've tried to eliminate alcohol on the irritated parts the past few mornings to see if that would make a difference and just use Stirling balms. Spice? itches. Unscented Glacial? No itch this morning. Still splashed on the AV everywhere else. Might have to book a doctor's appointment to try and get to the root cause.
    Have a great day all!
