Igor/Blue Star beard, Rockwell-6/SuperMax BDT for the head shave. Beginning a little blade comparison to see how much they really matter to me for my head shave, having had such good luck with the cheap Tian Li. Nacet yesterday was super smooth, SuperMax today, not quite so but plenty sharp. Very impressive for a cheap blade ($15/200 from Connaught). Igor goes back to his master tomorrow, having done very well by me. Easy two passer.[IMG]

Thanks Joseph. The Rubberset 400 is a classic, but @twhite improved it.

    Razor: PersonnaTwinjector
    Blade: Gillette Twinjector (1)
    Pre Shave: Homemade
    Lather: Gillette Foamy
    AS: Brut Splash On
Newspaper Date: Dec. 6,1943 (day before Pearl Harbor bombing)

I used the canned lather because with a new twinjector Blade is so efficient, It can help use up the cheap stuff with no problem. A WTG/ATG and some clean up, I managed near BBS. It is smooth all over, so I`m a happy camper. God Bless and a rea 100_3866.JPG 100_3867.JPG 100_3869.JPG 100_3870.JPG lly fine shave for all.

    Fragrance - Creed Original Vetiver
Aftershave - Country Club for Men - Frozen Vetiver
Shave Soap - Country Club for Men - Frozen Vetiver
Deodorant - Country Club for Men - Frozen Vetiver
    Pre-shave Oil - Lather & Wood "Unscented"
Post-Shave balm - Retseliney Luxury Skin Care Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Razor - Vintage Gillette Superspeed circa 1947-1952 (re-plated by Razor Emporium)
    Blade - BiC Chrome-Platinum
Brush - L&L Grooming "Fatty" in custom green color
Brush stand by Desire Metal Works
    Razor Stand by RV Shaving
Soap Bowl - Vintage Dubarry Soap Bowl circa 1930's Britain

It's starting to cool off in the mornings in Vegas lately, so I felt like smelling a fragrance that really goes well with fall. Creed's Original Vetiver. Love this green shave kit whether it's the matching dark green or this contrasting light/dark greens of my Vetiver setup. I will try using the straight razor a little again. I'm likely going to need the straight razor checked out to ensure I'm not doing something that rolls the edge inadvertently. A straight razor requires a lot of learning and developing good handling&care practices. It's not just something that is jumped into. Shaving around my beard and sideburns take a lot of practice and trial & error. I'm very limited in the angles I can take on my neck with a straight trying to get around the facial hair. I'm starting to improve but then the blade's edge is not easy to maintain properly, so if I can't strop it back into a sharp performance, I will look into having Daltongang examine it and let me know what I'm doing wrong.

@Salty Belle , I'm anxious to get back to the Cavendish soap this late fall&winter. I believe I can pair it with 3 aftershaves I still have. It'll get a lot of work!!
