Thank you Jim I’ve tried Proraso Green soap. I didn’t like then soap at all and gave it away. Surprising as it may seem today was my first use of either the Bigelow or Proraso cream. I enjoyed the cream much more than the soap. I’ll be keeping it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saturday This razor is extra hollow and extra loud but takes a very sharp edge and I like the smile. The edge was smooth and very sharp, 4 passes and just a 'hair' short of epic. It's in the running for a full tub. I need to try Ozark Mountain as well before deciding. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
I had a sample of Ozark Mountain soap and aftershave. I loved it. It was a great scent during the holiday season. I think my first experience with Arkadia was in a bath soap sample. I then bought a full bath soap bar and used it up. Really enjoyed it.
It's right up there among my top soaps. For the money I paid for it, it was a steal. It's a definite replace when finished. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
SEptember 23rd Schick I1 w Personna Twin WD HM Badger Proraso Green Cream Thayers Aqua Velva Ice Sport Nice relaxing weekend shave earlier this afternoon. This was my first mentholated cream (or soap) when I got it last winter at a local drug store and at first I thought it was very strong. Now, I find it quite mild in comparison to Palmolive Menthol. Pleasant scent and good performance, though. I took the picture last night, and then saw that @clint64 pulled out the same cream. Great minds... This will be the last day for the Twin blade. I'll use this razor for the upcoming week, but will switch to a Chick. Good cheap stink to end, and have a great Sunday all!
Glittery vampires who prefer wine to blood is one thing. Glittery rainbow sprinkles all over the Cartel? Quite another. You know, this could have serious repercussions on more than just the shaving world.
Smells like the Drug Store SEptember!!!! (Stirling Booster) September 23 Razor - E2 Schick Adjustable Injector Blade - (4) Pre - Stirling Mentholated Pre-shave soap Soap - Stirling Bay Rum Brush - 30DC LE ASOD - Aqua Velva Ice Blue Still staying with the pre-shave routine. Still liking the effect/result. Surprised at myself? Yes. Yes I am. Will I continue to do it? Well, probably for now if only because I still have the pre-shave soap sample. Will I buy a full bar? Jury is still debating. Went to the E2 Injector today and I guess I need to open up the M2 to compare it wide open to the E2. The E is definitely a more aggressive shave at this point. Nothing wrong with that, just have to remember and not leave any weepers along the way like I did tonight. Still, two passes to a near-BBS and the Bay Rum with a little light Menthol was delightful. The LE brush - perfection. And the AV in the morning will be the perfect way to head out. Have a great weekend everyone!
Saturday September 23 just before midnight - reloading Supply Provision Single Edge injector on two-dot plate / Personna (1) Neutrogena Skin Clearing Shave Cream Alum and Neutrogena Razor Defense Post Shave Lotion I thought the blade wasn't cutting as well as it might yesterday, so I binned it after 14 shaves. Tonight I loaded fresh Personna blades into all three of my current using injectors (the Supply Provision Single Edge, my Schick E2 and a Pal adjustable I just brought into rotation). It appears I may have done so well with the SP injector lately - including my blood-free shave on the most aggressive plate - because the blade was a bit dull. Tonight's blade had a somewhat sharper bite to it. My usual two passes brought me to a near BBS, but the alum was warm in a couple spots and I had a couple minute weeper spots in my goatee area again. Overall the shave was comfortable and refreshing. The alum and rinse disposed of the weepers with no need for a styptic pencil, and the lotion stopped any irritation dead in its tracks. Tomorrow I will use either the Pal adjustable for the first time or the Schick E2 as a refresher. I think I will finish out the month with these two razors. And for future reference, I will probably set 7 shaves as a reasonable maximium on my injector blades.
