Fairly decent murder movie with George Sanders as the lady killer. Always been a big fan of his. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Aftermath (2017) 2/10 BORING & SLOW!!! 1 1/2 hours I'll never get back. And at the beginning of the movie, it says it's based on actual events. The only thing based on anything in the real world is that two planes crashed into each other in Germany. And they weren't both passenger aircraft. TOTAL waste of time. Tomorrowland (2015) 8/10. As much as I pretty much can't stand George Clooney, this was a surprisingly enjoyable flick. And if you wanted to, you could actually watch it with your kids. Quite a concept with films today! Such a good movie. A slow build but I think the early to mid 70s Scorsese's movies are just pure genius. Robert De Niro at his prime. Cybill Shepherd was quite the looker then too. Edit. Now that I think about it more, Scorsese has been pretty consistent throughout his career. Goodfellas is in my top 20 of greatest movies of all times. Like Tarantino, you can't go wrong with Scorsese. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Clever how they set up the warm fuzzy at the end, with everyone reconciled, just so Thanos slaughtering half the family will be that much more shocking for the audience. The scotch tape bit was hilarious.
Really fun movie. Well acted all around. This movie however was pretty disappointing. Klaus Kinski was great as always but the story was pretty meh. Werner Herzog is pretty hit or miss and though nicely shot this one to me was a miss. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Really good Bogart movie. I thought this movie was done very smartly by not falling into the typical movie trappings. I highly recommend this to any Bogart fan. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
finished Big Jake last evening. Usually takes my wife and I a couple/few days to get a whole movie in.
I like 'em. But I grew up on The Three Stooges. Everyday at 1530 on WPIX CH. 11 with Officer Joe Bolton.
Ferris Bueller' s Day Off. Made in 1986. I guess I'm getting older, because I Now start taking the side of the Sister, and the Principal, hoping they would bust Ferris. His character really was a little punk that needed to be caught.
Played this for the kids tonight for their first time. They loved it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
