    Schick E2 / Personna ( 1 )
    Neutrogena Skin Clearing Shave Cream
Neutrogena Razor Defense Post Shave Lotion

After using my Supply Provision Single Edge stainless steel injector for most of the month, I switched today to the Schick E2. The fresh Personna blade felt both very sharp and quite rough at first; second pass felt smoother. I noticed the same thing with the fresh Personna in my Single Edge yesterday. The light weight of the Schick was almost disconcerting after using the Single Edge for so long. I consciously held the razor near the end of the handle and only with my fingertips to ensure I didn't compensate for the lighter weight by using pressure.

Using very light pressure and carefully skinstretching, I got two blood- and irritation-free passes out of the E2. I didn't bother with the alum today. The lotion capped a good shave. Overall a solid DFS with no errors to start off my week.

What an effortless shave this morning. I was on autopilot and ended with a DFS after two passes. This razor is fantastic and pairs well with the cream. I hope everyone has a great day!

A great shave is a good start to the work week. The shave this morning delivered. The RV7 with Shavemac Finest knot is great brush that feels so luxurious while face lathering. Three passes ended in a near BBS. I should have paid more attention to my lower right neck. A splash of Floid Blue and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: Surrey two-band badger
    Lather: Stirling Iced Pineapple
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Iced Pineapple aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Really nice shave this morning. Slick, shiny, and hydrated lather was whipped us easily with the badger brush. The G1 is so nimble and swiped it all away easily. Smooth and comfortable!

    Have a great day!

Changed out the Twin for a Chick in the I1 and had a very nice 3+ pass DFS this morning. Only a little left on one part of my neck. Finished with the Barbershop and I think I'll pull out the Meatgrinder, aka Injectomatic, for tomorrow.
    Have a great day all!

25 SEptember 2017 Menthol Monday Blade Focus Shave

Pre: Hot water, soap off the puck and a hot towel
    Razor: '67 Gillette Slim Adjustable
    Blade: Sputnik
    Brush: Omega 10098 Boar
    Soap: Catie's Bubbles "Sunrise"
Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer
After Shave: Proraso Green Lozione Dopobarba

This morning for Menthol Monday, I went with Catie's Bubbles "Sunrise".
I really like the scent of this soap and it really is an eye opener. Nice and slick during the shave and it leaves a great post face feel.
Left the Slim on the triple natural(7,7,7) for my 2.5 pass shave.
The Sputnik blade reminds me of both the Voskhod and GSB. If I'm not mistaken, they come out of the Gillette factory in St. Petersburg.
Anyway, the Slim/Sputnik duo laid a very nice BBS on me for the first day of the workweek.
Splashed on Proraso Green and away we went.
    Have a good 'un TSD!
