Not a new one, but I ,and a number of TSD members, have had Glen restore a vintage razor. When you say 're-done' on a NEW razor, can you be more specific as to what you'd like to have altered?
@BIG SAM , what razor are you considering sending him?? Specifics?? Also, why would you even need to have a "New Razor", "Re-done"? Usually you have a Vintage razor "Restored", because of various problems. Me, I like pics. But, that's just me. Oh, I hear Glen does a fantastic job, of both "Honing", and "Restorations".
BTW, It's @gssixgun , not GASSIXGUN, but, thats a funny spelling. I would venture to say, many here are full of "GAS".
I received mine back this morning from Glenn got the best shave of my life. I knew it probably be here sometime this week and been letting my beard grow since sat. I have read that properly honed straight would give you a bbs shave and that's what I got with 3 passes. The razor was came to me wrapped in wax paper just like it did when I received it new. I know you guys have said that where several on the form that could do a good job. That may be true but Glenn will get my new Dovo "Bismarck" Straight Razor, Pearl Acrylic, 6/8".
