This is a solid brass boatswain's pipe issued as a 50th commemoration of the Shulton Company. Stamped on the sides is "1936 OLD SPICE 1986."

Post-shave: Dickinson's witch hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm, Pinaud Bay Rum

Enjoyed a nice shave after a day of lawn work. This is the 2nd time I've used this razor, acquired 3 days ago. I like it, but I'm liking all of my injector razors so far. I went with the VDH soap today because I like the scent, it's easy to build into a slick protective lather. I had a 2 pass, comfortable, close shave with some clean up on the neck. I got one nick on my neck which is still burning a little, but that was entirely my fault. I got carried away trying to clean up some stubborn stubble on the neck.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 badger brush. I did two passes with the GEM 1914 razor and a CVS SE blade. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I see Williams Wednesday's are being represented in the HOOOOOUUUUUSSSSSEEEEE! You go boyyyyysssssss.

So I really didn't need to shave this morning. Yesterday's shave was better than I originally thought, but today is Williams Wednesday I didn't want to miss out on any of the fun.
