The bowl is absolutely stunning, Jason! I'm gonna enter the PIF, but frankly would feel guilty winning something that fantastic for free. Good luck to those who are "in", as that thing is a showpiece!
Fantastic B&W Photo. Great photo Perry. Bravo. Fantastic Travel setup and Photo Brian. Beautiful Razor Adam. The brush and bowl look great and just pop in the photo. Fantastic photo Mark. Love the flat top.
27 SEtember 2017 Williams Wednesday Blade Focus Shave Got tired of running down the lineup. Everyone here pretty much can see it from the picture. So, I picked up a puck of Williams at the fleamarket for $1. After reading about it here on TSD, I figured to see what it was all about. Wet down the puck really well, soaked the 10098 and beat that soap like a rented mule. During the shave I hit the brush with some drops of water and kept swirling it in the mug between passes. It didn't disapate but I noticed you had to work it some on the face to get a decent lather. No scent that I could smell which was nice 'cause now I've got another soap that can go with any A/S. Bottom line, after my usual 2.5 pass shave, I was nearly BBS. The lather was slick enough and my face felt nice. I looked at the package and I have the 3rd version. An okay soap Have a good 'un.
That is one beautiful bowl, Jason! PAINSTICK PALOOZA, you may have just coined a new theme! Thats is one cool razor, Keith! Love the new decanter, Rick! The autostrops look so cool! I'm glad there is at lease one blade option left for them! Cool photo, Perry! and very cool that you were able to get in on the meetup soap! The Tuckmar looks amazing Brian! Fabulous new razor, Adam! and it looks like the knot in your 30DCLE is breaking in well! Beautiful combo with the brush and the bowl, Jason! Awesome photo, Mark! Still rocking the Sputnik ? Great pic, I see the Canoe hiding in the background! Mine should be here tomorrow.
Yup, the Sputnik is locked and loaded until Friday. Early Saturday Herself and I will be on the way to Georgia to see my oldest. Gonna spend the week helping him and his gf set up the house they're renting.
SOTD Stirling SEptember Schick Repeating Razor C1 Personna Stirling 24MM synthetic Stirling Mountain Man soap and AS Whenever I shave with this razor I have to be a little careful because its missing the corner tooth and that edge can be a bit scratchy. I felt like I cought the edge a few times but no blood was drawn. In the end after 3 passes I was left with a DFS and a the Stirling AS felt great and smelled great too! Have a fabulous day my friends!
Jason, that is stunning! I am going to sit out the PIF, because I don't think it would get the use it deserves in my den.
Thanks, Jim. Looking at the razors I have recently purchased, I seem to be a sucker for translucent acrylic scales. I also have some purple translucent acrylic in my workshop, in a bin with a Sheffield razor. I will get to it someday. Thanks, Clint. I had just made a comment before I saw this that I was done getting razors for a while. Whoops. I am loving this razor. This is my go to brush now. I have a little bit smaller Omega that is broken in even more, but this 098 with the 30DC LE brush is just a joy to use.
Great pic. I hope you have a great trip to GA and enjoy the time with your son. Great pictures. The Schick Repeating Razors are some of the coolest razors every made.
