Blue/Black Shaving Mug 1985
This mug is heavy pottery with a deep blue or black glaze and was sold in two different gift sets in 1985. One set included a shaving brush and razor while the other included only the brush. The only decoration is the single white ship in silhouette. I believe this may have been distributed outside the U.S. market because it is dated 1985 yet the packaging is not consistent with the 1981 logo change. The back of the box is marked "Old Spice Accessories made under license from Shulton, Inc. 1985" "Made in Taiwan R.O.C. for Cosrich Inc., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861" Dimensions: 3.25" high by 5" rim to handle.

Jamie's Night Shave...

• STIRLING Margaritas in the Artic Glacial / W.H. Aloe / Splash
• PAA ROCKET - 26mm synth - handle mimics a rare vintage ever-ready, beast of a brush for 12.95 [bargain].
• Lady Eversharp injector - Schick Type H aka "the HUSSY". Had this for months and finally used it for 1st time loaded with a NOS Vintage K-Mart blade. I did a 3 pass shave with a lots of pick ups on the neck. The 1st 2 passes I did not have proper angle and it was not cutting enough and was too mild, once I finally found the angle, wow was it cutting like a Type E but easier. I need to dig out some birdielives posts as he explained the angle in detail - fun shave and I look forward to learning proper angle for all passes.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 badger brush. I did just one pass with the Igor SE Razor by Tom and a CVS SE blade because that is all I needed. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I1 injector this morning. Probably needed a blade change as it was not quite as smooth as it could be. But overall nice results. I'll change out the blade and have a new one for next time.
