    Saturday morning:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra day 6
    Stirling Electric Sheep SS
    Lubriderm Moisturizer

Here's where I get an earful from my wife because Yom Kippur begins this evening at sunset and the really observant Jewish men refrain from showering and shaving for an entire day. Myself, I'm very traditional but I don't go to the extreme that many other men go to and I just cannot leave the house without showering, shaving, using deodorant, and brushing my teeth. I'll be starting a new container of this Electric Sheep soap and I cannot wait to enjoy the wonderful scent as well as the great lather and the soothing, moisturizing post-shave care it gives. No aftershave or fragrance tomorrow, however - just deodorant. It'll sure feel great to use a Stirling soap again!

Razor: Mongoose B2 w/ Hempel Handle
    Blade: Feather Professional (8)
Brush: El Druida Red Heart Chakte Kok/African Blackwood 2 Band Badger
    Soap: Oleo Montrose Beach
    A/S: Old Spice Fresh Lime
Decanter: Scrimshaw Whale Tooth (Full & Bye) Cologne 1974-1976 & Body Talcum 1979-1980

The last 2 days of this month are devoted to my 2 favorite Decanters. I am big fan of Moby Dick the book and movie.
There were six styles of Scrimshaw Decanters sold from 1974 to 1976 (Product ID 3835 or 3838). The bottles sported simulated scrimshaw depicting whaling or sailing imagery. Packaging was clear plastic with the decanter on a silver plastic base. Each decanter held 6 ounces of cologne. Some were sold in gift sets with a scrimshaw soap on a rope.

    Saturday Straight's SE SEptember Shave

    Proraso Pre Shave
    Col. Conk Lime Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #206
    Henry Taylor 5/8
    Igor by Tom
    CVS SE
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Col. Conk Lime Shaving Soapface-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 badger brush. I did the first pass with the Henry Taylor 5/8 razor and cleaned up with my Igor by Tom and a CVS SE blade. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Dude! Do you have an entire Old Spice room in your house? What is your secret to staying married in this situation?

Wonderful late shave today, the RazoRock MJ-90A and Blue Barbershop are both stellar.
This PAA brush is great, super quality and price point.

I don't have an entire room of Old Spice. Just a book case in the master bedroom. My wife is okay about me collecting shaving razors, brushes, soaps, aftershaves, and what ever else I have. That being said, we have had a few talks about the Old Spice book self, which usually ends cost money. She is an amazing person. I would have nothing without her. :happy088:
